Tommy Boy
- In one of the motel room scenes, there is a preview for Naked Gun 33 1/3 playing the background which was also directed by Peter Segal.
- Tommy graduates from Marquette University which is Chris Farley's real-life alma mater.
- David Spade refused to have a stylist do his hair and that is why it always looks messed up throughout the movie.
- The role of Helen the waitress was originally to be played by Rosanne but she couldn't work it into her schedule.
- Tommy says "Son of...." ten times in the movie.
- According to David Spade, he and Chris Farley got into a fight on set when one night Spade and Rob Lowe went out for drinks. On set the next day, Farley was apparently jealous about the two going out without him and stepped on Spade's hand. After an altercation, Spade stormed off set and refused to finish the movie. Oddly enough, the two went on to make Black Sheep the next year.
- For some reason, comedy movies have very little trivia, so that's all I've got.
